Today, Thankly is led by Kathy Lam — a former management consultant who swapped PowerPoints for purpose. After years of leading corporate change across organisations, it was during her 2023 career break that she felt the pull to create something more human: a platform that helps us reconnect through the everyday power of gratitude.

Her personal journey, marked by the loss of both parents by the age of 21, shaped her deep understanding of loneliness and disconnection - something 1 in 3 Australians experience today. Gratitude, for her, became not just a daily practice but a way to reconnect, to belong, and to remind others they matter.
